The dress has boning in the bodice to create support for the chest area. It helps to maintain a strong structure on both the interior and exterior of this dress. The empire waist has been created to perfection! It looks amazing. Have you ever seen Jessica Simpson in an empire waist dress? It's wonderful, so if you have similar body proportions this dress will look amazing on you. I have never been a big fan of the empire waist look because if done the wrong way it can make you look pregnant; and if I am not pregnant I am not down with looking pregnant! However, this empire waist starts right below the breast line and somehow you will not look like you are pregnant. Just in case you were wondering what this dress is made of, it is 73% and 27% gold lame. The lining of this dress is 100% polyester. Take of this dress by only dry cleaning it!
